Why I Created a Flag for Everyone

Most flags divide.
They mark borders, define sides, and tell people where they belong — or worse, where they don’t.

But I’ve always believed belonging shouldn’t come from a border.
It should come from something deeper — from the shared courage, hope, and purpose that live inside all of us.

That belief became the start of Unity Polaris.

It Started With a Simple Idea

One night, staring up at the northern sky, I kept thinking about the North Star — Polaris.
For centuries, it’s guided explorers, travelers, and dreamers through the dark.
No matter where you stand in the northern hemisphere, you can look up and see it. The end of the handle on the little dipper, the one star that doesn't move.
That’s powerful. It’s constant. It’s for everyone.

I wanted to create a symbol that captured that feeling — something that could guide people, too.
Not politically. Not geographically. But emotionally.

A symbol of belonging, unity, and direction — a reminder that we all have a North Star inside us.

 Designing the Flag

The flag’s design was never about decoration — it was about meaning.

  • Six red stripes for six shared values: Unity, Courage, Belonging, Adventure, Hope, and Purpose.

  • A bright blue star in the center — a symbol of Polaris, the guiding light we all share.

  • A white field for openness — space for every story, every journey, every dream.

It’s simple, but intentional. Every line and color says something about who we can be together.

 A Flag Without Borders

From the beginning, I wanted the Unity Polaris flag to belong to everyone.
Not as a country’s emblem, but as a shared identity.

Wherever you go — a mountain, a city, a campsite, or a rocket launch — this flag is a reminder that we’re part of one human story.
It’s not about claiming territory.
It’s about claiming your purpose.

That’s why our tagline isn’t about planting a flag in the ground.
It’s about where you’ll fly yours.

 What the Flag Stands For

Every person has their own summit to reach — their own mission, dream, or moment of courage.
Flying the Unity Polaris flag says:

“I’m proud of who I’m becoming.
I believe in unity.
I choose to belong.”

"I want to celebrate my own journey."

"I support something that amplifies my own beliefs."

It’s a small act with a big meaning — and when thousands of people fly that same symbol, it becomes a movement.

 The Beginning of a Movement

Today, people are flying the Unity Polaris flag on mountain ridges, city rooftops, and home balconies.
They’re tagging their journeys with #FlyYourFlag, sharing what the flag means to them — unity, purpose, hope, and belonging.

Every photo, every story adds another spark to a constellation that connects us all.
Together, we’re building something bigger — a global symbol for those who live guided by their own North Star.

 My Invitation to You

If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t quite fit into a flag — this one’s for you.
If you believe in courage, belonging, and hope — this is yours to fly.

Unity Polaris is more than a brand.
It’s a reminder.
A direction.
A flag for everyone.

So wherever life takes you —
Fly your flag.
